The North East Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service has withdrawn some twenty- seven (27) teachers from the classroom for possessing fake certificates.
The North East Acting Regional Director of Education, Mr. Simon Anane Amokase, has in a statement dated June 21, 2022, asked the district directors of Bunkpurugo- Nakpanduri, Yunyoo-Nasuan, Chereponi, West Mamprusi and Mamprugu Moaduri as a matter of urgency, vacate the posts of some twenty-seven teachers who claimed to have been appointed and posted to some districts of the North East Region.
These 27 self-acclaimed employees of the Ghana Education Service were withdrawn after a confirmation was made at the HR Unit of Ghana Education Service (HQ) - Accra, upon a verification request from the North East Regional Education Directorate, Walewale.
