The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT, Mr. Prosper Takyie, has in a briefing disclosed that teachers who have applied to be upgraded or promoted to their new ranks will be put to scale by the end of September, 2022.

“By the end of September this year, almost all applicants to various grades will be placed on the rightful scale (both upgrading and promotion) for senior and junior ranks” he said.

The issue of upgrading and promotion has been a major problem in the teaching fraternity that most staffs who are products of Distance and Sandwich Education are going through after completing their causes.
