Students and teachers of the Zabzugu Senior High School are in a state of mourning as two senior staff of the school have met their untimely death around Buipe in the Savannah Region of Ghana on Friday July 8, 2022.
Reports indicate that they were returning from a workshop which was held at Koforidua in the Eastern Region when their vehicle got involved in an accident.
It is not yet clear as to what really led to the accident, but Citi News understands another staff member who was involved in the crash survived and is responding to treatment.
One of the assistant heads of the school who spoke to Citi News said the loss of the teachers will greatly affect the school.
According to him, teaching, Non teaching as well as students are currently in the state of mourning as one of the deceased l, aside from having teaching duties, was the counsellor of the School who had a very crucial role with both students and teachers.
He further stated that, the other deceased was also the senior housemaster of the school.
