Base pay negotiation for the year, 2023 has being difficult to come into
terms by the two parties involved (Government and Organized Labour) as
it started last year.
The
last meeting that was held yesterday 10th January, 2023 between Government and Organized Labour concluded
unsuccessfully as Government offered 20% whiles Organized Labour
demanding 50%.
The meeting was therefore adjourned to today, January 11, 2023, but the negotiation according to Joynews ended inconclusively as government struggles to reach agreement with the Organized Labours.
The 2023 Base Pay negotiation continues tomorrow January 12, 2023.
