All Doubts Cleared, Salary Payment Voucher for January 2023 is ready for Validation
Representatives of Public Sector Workers from sector in Ghana tabled a negotiation with the government in relation with their 2023 base pay increment.
Public Sector Workers proposed a percentage of 60 and finally given 30% of their base pay after series if meeting with the Government’s representatives.
The 30% increment in a letter of agreement signed by representatives of the parties involved in the negotiations stated the the increment was going to be paid effective January, 2023.
In view of this, public sector workers were thrown into suspense as to whether it will be reflected in their accounts or not, and rather be disbursed to their February's Salary with arrears.
After the Salary Payment Voucher (SPV) for the month of January was ready to be validated, it was realized that payments are done in accordance to what the parties involved in the negotiation agreed on.
