2023 Base pay negotiation is still ongoing but being difficult to come into terms by as Government struggled to reach agreement with the Organized Labour in their last meeting yesterday January 11, 2023.
The meeting was therefore adjourned to today, January 12, 2023.
Another meeting that is slated to be taken place today is the consultative meeting of stakeholders on the 2023 Academic Calendar which needs the presence of the representatives/leaders of the Teacher Unions and other stakeholders/persons who equally need to be present at the ongoing 3-Day negotiation on the 2023 Base Pay Increment.
The meeting on the 2023 Base pay negotiation and consultative meeting of stakeholders on the 2023 Academic Calendar will be held at the Conference room of the Ministry of Health and Conference Room of the Director-General.
