Ghana Education Service in the late hours of yesterday Saturday 12th February, 2023 updated prospective applicants and the general public on the rationale behind their inability to log onto the recruitment portal for onward processing.
The reason was about a technical problem for which the technical team was busily bringing under control.
Latest update and our personal checks have it that the portal is opened and available to only Diploma In Basic EduEducation holders.
Background of the 2023 Recruitment
Management of GES in a release disclosed that it has opened portal for Recruitment of Teachers with Diploma In Basic Education, but the portal seemed not to be working which in a way was tagged “fake” by many.
Management has now cleared the air and reveal that the recruitment is official and the portal will be opened the moment the technical team resolves the problem.
Application is invited from qualified trained teachers who have Diploma in Basic Education Certificate to be considered for Employment.
The job purpose includes
- To facilitate Learning using 21st century technology
- Continuously improve learner’s ability to research using new technologies
- Teach highly motivated learners, cater for learners with different learning abilities and help them achieve excellent academic results.
- Attend relevant and continuous professional development sessions.
- Use a variety of assessment tools and tasks to accurately assess levels of learners’ complacency.
- Any other responsibility that would be assigned to you by your head of institution.
Mode of Application
Applicants who wish to apply should meet the following criteria;- Must have completed Diploma in Basic Education Programme and has no outstanding examination or referrals.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Service.
- Must have passed the National Teacher Licensure Examination.
- Must be ready to work wherever his/her services would be needed.
