The Quorum of the Ghana Education Service Council is the minimum number of members required to be present at a meeting to make any valid decisions or transact any business. According to the Ghana Education Service Act, 2019 (Act 1023), the quorum for the Education Service Council is six (6) members. This means that at least six members of the Council must be present at a meeting for any business or decision to be valid.
It's worth noting that the Education Service Council is the highest decision-making body of the Ghana Education Service, responsible for setting policies and guidelines for the management and administration of education in Ghana. The Council comprises of 17 members, including the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, representatives from the Ministry of Education, teacher unions, and other relevant bodies.
