Ga West Municipal Education Directorate (GAWMED) Requests Photocopy of Ghana Card for Newly Recruited Teachers without Staff IDs
The GAWMED's communication and media bureau emphasized that the call to submit photocopies of the Ghana card is strictly for newly recruited teachers who have not yet received their Staff IDs. Those who have already received their Staff IDs need not submit their Ghana card photocopies.
It is crucial for the newly recruited teachers to comply with this directive to ensure that they are appropriately captured on the government's payroll system. Failure to comply with the submission of the photocopy of the Ghana card may result in the delay of receiving the Staff ID and other related challenges.
In conclusion, the GAWMED's request for newly recruited teachers without Staff IDs to submit photocopies of their Ghana cards to the HR Office for onward submission to the Regional Education Office is in line with the GES's directive to update personal data on the GIFMIS platform. All affected teachers are encouraged to comply with this directive and submit their Ghana card photocopies before the deadline to ensure a smooth and efficient payroll system.
