The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that Staff Identification Numbers for the neophyte staff in 2023 are now ready. The GES is calling on all Regional Directors to bring this to the attention of these staff in their respective regions.
The GES has further stated that there will be no biometric registration for the newly recruited staff. The salaries for these staff will be paid at the end of May 2023. The GES is therefore requesting all Regional Directors to submit all processed new entrant forms promptly to the Payroll Unit at the GES Headquarters by the 24th of May 2023 to avoid any delay in salary payment. This is a matter of urgency and should be treated as such.
It is important to note that all staff who are awaiting their staff identification numbers should reach out to the Payroll coordinators to find out if they are included in this batch of newly recruited staff. This will help to ensure that they are included in the upcoming salary payments.
The GES is committed to ensuring that all newly recruited staff are well taken care of and that they receive their salaries promptly. The GES therefore urges all Regional Directors to cooperate fully with the Payroll Unit and to ensure that all necessary forms are submitted on time.
