REQUEST TO VISIT SCHOOLS IN SOME SELECTED DISTRICTS FOR COMPLIANCE CHECKS OF TEACHERS ON THE NATIONAL TEACHERS' STANDARDS
In line with section 83 of Act 1023, the National Teaching Council (NTC) is mandated to inspect license of teachers in schools.
To this effect, Management of the Ghana Education (GES) wishes to inform you that the NTC has developed guidelines and assessment tools for inspection of compliance in schools. The council has selected and trained compliance officers who would be working in eighteen (18) selected Metro/Municipal/Districts in the Ashanti, Eastern, Greater Accra and the Northern Regions to access teachers' compliance to the standards set for the teaching profession which shall form basis for renewal of teachers' license.

In view of the above, Regional Directors of Education are kindly requested to inform the selected (list attached) Metro/Municipal/District Directors about this exercise which is scheduled to start from November to December, 2023.
